Havana Cuban Dance Studio has been an integral part of the Latin community for over ten years in Calgary and the surrounding area. We were inspired to begin our School Programs to continue to share an authentic and cultural experience with youth in the greater community. Our dance programs are taught by professional instructors and include a variety of Latin dance styles, such as, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, Flamenco, Cha Cha and Reggaeton.

We teach our students using a growth mindset approach: skills can be enhanced through dedication and hard work – brains and talents are just the starting point. This method of teaching enables our students to develop a love for learning and a resilience to embracing challenges, which is a fundamental life skill.
